Refund Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Effective: August 27, 2026 for merchants with an existing account on July 28, 2026. The changes in this version apply immediately to accounts created on or after July 28, 2026.

Important Notice

PD Cash charges no subscription fee, no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no per-transaction fee on any plan. The only fee PD Cash charges is a flat 20% fee on withdrawals. That fee is earned when the withdrawal is executed and is non-refundable, except where the withdrawal fails for reasons attributable to PD Cash. The Premium security deposit is not a fee and is refundable under Section 3.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains what PD Cash charges, what is refundable, and what is not. By using our Platform you acknowledge and agree to this Policy in its entirety. It should be read with the Terms of Service, which govern fees, deposits, and termination.

2. What PD Cash Charges

  • No subscription fee, monthly fee, annual fee, setup fee, or onboarding fee applies on any plan.
  • No per-transaction fee and no percentage processing fee is charged by PD Cash.
  • A flat 20% withdrawal fee is deducted from each amount you withdraw. This is the only fee PD Cash charges.
  • The Premium security deposit of $1,000 is not a fee. It is forwarded in full to the licensed channel partner and is refundable under Section 3.
  • Network, blockchain, and channel-partner costs are set by third parties, passed through at cost, and not retained by PD Cash. They are not refundable by us.

Because there is no subscription and no processing fee, there is nothing to pro-rate, cancel, or claim back on plan changes. Moving between the Free plan and the Premium plan carries no fee in either direction.

3. Security Deposits

The Premium plan requires a refundable deposit of $1,000. It is refunded as follows:

  • The deposit is refundable in full on closure of the account in good standing, less any itemised deduction.
  • Deductions may be made for outstanding chargebacks, dispute losses, negative balances, network or partner fines, and amounts owed under the Terms of Service.
  • A 90-day chargeback exposure window runs from the date of your last processed transaction. The deposit cannot be released before that window closes.
  • Release is instructed to the channel partner within 5 business days after the window closes, and the refund is issued within 30 business days of that instruction.
  • Any deduction is itemised in writing. You have 60 days from the date of that statement to dispute it through the complaints process in the Terms of Service.
  • The refund is issued by the method used for the original deposit where possible, or by an alternative method agreed with you.

PD Cash does not hold the deposit. It sits with the licensed channel partner, so the point at which you actually receive the money also depends on that partner and on your receiving bank, wallet, or network.

4. The 20% Withdrawal Fee

The withdrawal fee is earned at the moment the withdrawal is executed.

  • Once a withdrawal has been executed, the 20% fee is final and non-refundable.
  • The fee is not refunded because you later refund your own customer, receive a chargeback, close your account, or change plan.
  • Where a withdrawal fails for reasons attributable to PD Cash — for example a Platform error that submits an incorrect or duplicate instruction — we refund the fee in full, or credit it against your next withdrawal, at your choice.
  • Where a withdrawal fails for reasons attributable to you — incorrect bank details, a wrong wallet address or network, or a destination that rejects the payment — the fee may still apply, and any recovery cost charged by a third party is passed on to you.
  • Where a withdrawal fails at the channel partner, the payment network, or your receiving institution, the claim belongs to that entity. We will supply references, timestamps, and evidence to help you pursue it.

5. Third-Party & Network Costs

Costs incurred outside PD Cash are not refundable by PD Cash:

  • Network and blockchain fees are consumed by the network at the moment of broadcast and cannot be recovered by anyone.
  • Costs charged by a channel partner or payment provider are governed by that entity's own terms.
  • Failures, declines, or errors at a channel partner or payment provider do not entitle you to a refund from PD Cash. Direct such claims to that entity.

If a transaction fails because of a routing error on our side — not a partner decline or a partner-side failure — we will correct the record and, where a PD Cash fee was charged on the affected amount, refund it.

6. Optional Add-On Purchases

Where the Platform offers an optional one-time purchase, such as API credits or a plugin licence, that purchase is final and non-refundable under Section 5A of the Terms of Service. This does not create any subscription or recurring charge, and it does not apply to the security deposit.

7. Service Credits

Where the Platform experiences downtime or degradation that materially affects your ability to route transactions, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a service credit. Service credits:

  • Are not cash refunds and cannot be withdrawn
  • May be applied against future PD Cash fees
  • Have no cash value and expire on account termination
  • Are determined solely at our discretion, and we do not offer a contractual service level agreement

8. Chargebacks Against Merchants

When a chargeback is filed against a transaction routed through our Platform:

  • The chargeback amount may be deducted from your available balance or your security deposit
  • Additional dispute or administrative fees charged by the channel partner or network may apply
  • We do not refund chargeback amounts to merchants
  • You are solely responsible for managing disputes with your end customers
  • Chargeback processing, representment, and dispute resolution are handled by the channel partner and the payment network. PD Cash does not decide disputes and bears no liability for the outcome
  • Claims for losses arising from a chargeback, including improper handling or a failure to submit a representment, must be directed to the applicable channel partner or payment provider

9. How a Dispute Is Handled

  • Notification: we tell you in your dashboard, and by email where you have notifications enabled, as soon as a channel partner or network informs us that a dispute has been filed.
  • Evidence deadlines: these are set by the channel partner and the relevant payment network, not by PD Cash. They are often short. We pass on the deadline we are given, and you should treat it as firm — evidence submitted late is usually not considered.
  • Evidence: submit order records, delivery or access logs, customer communications, refund history, and the terms accepted at checkout, through the channel we tell you to use.
  • Provisional debit: the disputed amount may be provisionally debited or held at the channel partner while the dispute is open. That decision belongs to the partner, not to us.
  • Outcome: the dispute is decided by the payment network and the issuing institution. PD Cash cannot overturn a decision and does not act as an arbiter.
  • Merchant liability: if the dispute is resolved against you, you are liable for the full transaction amount plus any dispute, representment, or administrative fee charged by the partner or network. These amounts may be deducted from your available balance or your security deposit.
  • Ratio monitoring: we monitor dispute ratios. An account exceeding a 1% chargeback ratio may be suspended, required to lodge an additional deposit, or have withdrawals withheld pending resolution.

10. Requesting a Refund

For an eligible refund — a security deposit return, or a withdrawal fee refunded under Section 4 — please:

  • Contact our support team through the contact form: pd.cash/contact#contact-form
  • Provide your account email and the deposit or withdrawal reference, with the reason for the request
  • Expect acknowledgement within 2 business days
  • Allow the timing in Section 3 for a deposit refund, or 15 business days from approval for any other eligible refund

Summary

PD Cash charges no subscription, setup, or per-transaction fee. The only PD Cash fee is a flat 20% withdrawal fee, earned on execution and non-refundable except where the withdrawal fails for reasons attributable to PD Cash. The Premium security deposit is fully refundable after the 90-day chargeback exposure window, less any itemised deduction. Third-party network and partner costs are passed through at cost and are not refundable by us.
