Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Effective: August 27, 2026 for merchants with an existing account on July 28, 2026. The changes in this version apply immediately to accounts created on or after July 28, 2026.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permitted, restricted, and prohibited uses of the PD Cash payment orchestration platform ("Platform"). All merchants and users must comply with it. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Platform to:
- Process legitimate payment transactions for lawful goods and services
- Route transactions through connected payment providers and channel partners
- Generate payment links for customer invoicing
- Access transaction analytics, reports, and dashboards
- Integrate our API into your applications
- Connect your own payment gateway API keys (BYOK)
- Manage withdrawals according to your plan terms
3. Restricted Categories — Permitted Only After Review
Some business categories are neither freely permitted nor prohibited. They may be onboarded only after PD Cash review and channel-partner approval, and only for as long as the conditions below are met. Approval is granted per account, per business model, and per region, and may be withdrawn if the conditions stop being met. Operating a restricted category without approval, or outside the scope of an approval, is a breach of this AUP.
3.1 iGaming and regulated gaming
- A current, verifiable gaming licence for every jurisdiction you serve, with evidence supplied on request and before expiry
- Geo-blocking that prevents access, deposit, and play from jurisdictions where you are not licensed
- Age verification completed before any deposit or wager
- Responsible gaming tools, including deposit limits, self-exclusion, and clearly visible support information
- Accurate billing descriptors, and clear terms and wagering conditions shown before payment
- No credit-funded gambling in any jurisdiction that prohibits it
3.2 Sweepstakes and social gaming
- A genuine, free, and equally weighted alternative method of entry that does not require any purchase
- Published official rules covering eligibility, odds, prize value, redemption process, and the identity of the sponsor
- Clear separation between purchasable virtual currency and any sweepstakes entry, so that a purchase is never a condition of entry
- Compliance with sweepstakes, lottery, and prize-promotion law in every jurisdiction served
- Geo-blocking of jurisdictions where the model is not lawful
3.3 IPTV, streaming and digital media
- Documented distribution or licensing rights for every channel, title, or feed offered, evidenced on request
- No unauthorised retransmission of broadcast, cable, satellite, or live sports signals
- No resale of access to third-party subscription services you do not have the right to resell
- Clear service descriptions, pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation terms shown before purchase
- Prompt removal of any content on receipt of a valid rights-holder complaint, and a working notice-and-takedown contact
3.4 Digital goods, software and game codes
- Sale only of keys, codes, licences, and in-game items you have the right to distribute
- No cracked, pirated, or licence-circumventing software, and no key generators
- No stolen, fraudulently obtained, or region-locked codes presented as unrestricted
- Reliable delivery, with a documented process and a stated remedy where delivery fails
- Clear refund, redemption, and support terms shown before purchase
3.5 Other restricted categories
The following are permitted only after review, and where approved may carry additional conditions such as reserves, volume caps, or enhanced monitoring:
- Nutraceuticals and supplements — no disease or cure claims, no forced continuity, compliant labelling and ingredient disclosure
- Dating and companionship services — no adult content, verified profiles, and clear billing descriptors
- Trading education, signals, and financial coaching — no performance or income guarantees, no unlicensed investment advice, and prominent risk disclosure
- Generic or unbranded apparel and accessories — no counterfeit branding, and either real inventory or a disclosed fulfilment partner
- Subscription and negative-option billing of any kind — express informed consent before the first charge, clear renewal terms and pricing, advance renewal reminders, and a working self-service cancellation path
- Dropshipping, ticketing, and travel — realistic delivery or service dates, a disclosed fulfilment source, and adequate protection for prepaid services
If your business sits in a restricted category, disclose it during route review. Failing to disclose it is treated as misrepresentation of your business under Section 5.1.
4. Prohibited Business Categories
You may not use the Platform to process payments for the following:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives (where prohibited by law)
- Human trafficking or exploitation of any kind
- Child exploitation material or services
- Terrorism or terrorist financing
- Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing scams
- Counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement
- Unlicensed pharmaceutical products
- Adult content, adult services, and sexually oriented live streaming or subscription content
- Unlicensed money transmission, currency exchange, or payment aggregation, and crypto mixing, tumbling, or anonymising services
- Unregistered securities offerings, binary options, contracts for difference where prohibited, and unlicensed investment or fund-management schemes
- Credit repair, debt settlement, debt elimination, payday lending, and advance-fee loan services
- Sale of personal data, credentials, or account access, and hacking, DDoS-for-hire, or surveillance-for-hire services
- Pirated media, cracked software, licence-key generators, and technical protection circumvention devices
- Tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products, alcohol, kratom, and CBD or other hemp-derived products
- Gift-card resale, prepaid-card loading, cash-equivalent instruments, and money-order services
- Essay mills, forged or fraudulent documents, identity documents, and paid fake reviews or engagement
- Unregistered charitable solicitation and political fundraising where registration is required
- Any business located in, or primarily serving, a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction
- Services designed to facilitate illegal activities
- Any goods or services that are illegal in the buyer's or the seller's jurisdiction
This list is read together with Section 3. A category listed in Section 3 is restricted, not prohibited, and may be operated where you hold the licences, rights, and approvals required for every jurisdiction you serve. Where an activity is lawful in some jurisdictions and not in others, the prohibition applies to the jurisdictions where it is unlawful and you must geo-block them.

- Include the account, payment link, website, or transaction reference concerned, and a description of what you observed
- We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and investigate promptly

- We do not disclose a reporter's identity to the reported party except where the law requires it
- Where the conduct appears to be criminal, report it to law enforcement as well as to us
10. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- A warning and a request for corrective action
- Temporary suspension of the account, of withdrawals, or of both
- Permanent termination of the account
- Deduction from the security deposit to cover chargebacks, fines, or losses
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities where appropriate
- Legal action to recover damages
We may act immediately and without prior notice where a violation is severe, threatens Platform integrity, involves suspected illegal activity, or is required by a channel partner, network, regulator, or court.
11. Appeals
If your account is suspended, restricted, or terminated under this AUP, you may appeal.
- Submit the appeal within 30 days of the decision through the contact form using the subject "AUP Appeal"
- Say what you believe was decided wrongly, and attach supporting evidence such as licences, distribution or rights documentation, corrected disclosures, or remediation you have completed
- The appeal is reviewed by someone who was not involved in the original decision
- We respond within 15 business days. Where a channel partner's decision is involved, we tell you and route the appeal to that partner
- A suspension remains in force while the appeal is reviewed
- Where the suspension arises from suspected illegal activity, a sanctions match, or a legal, regulatory, or partner requirement, it remains in force regardless of the appeal outcome unless that requirement is lifted
- If the appeal succeeds, we restore access and remove the violation record from your account file
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Where a change is material, we give at least 30 days' advance notice by email and by dashboard notice before it takes effect. Other changes are posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
